DALLAS, TX (July 2017) – MultiCam Inc., a U.S. based CNC machinery manufacturer is excited to announce IHT Oxy-Fuel torches can now be fully integrated onto the MultiCam 6000 Series CNC Plasma.
The MultiCam 6000 Series features a bridge & rail design for large process heavy plate production. It combines a 0 to 45-degree beveled Plasma torch along with up to eight Acetylene (Oxy-Fuel) torches (depending on the customer’s requirements). Acetylene (Oxy-Fuel) is a proven technology, which allows the user to cut mild steel up to ten inches thick. By combining the superior motion of a MultiCam machine with the easy-to-use automation of the IHT torches, the 6000 Series offers nearly unlimited manufacturing capabilities.
Product Group Manager, Kris Scherm states, “At MultiCam, as with all of our cutting technology platforms, we strive to make it as easy as possible to operate, minimize training time, optimize the process, and automate the settings and process control parameters as much as possible. We are very excited to announce our latest innovation with Oxy-Fuel and the fully integrated automated IHT auto Oxy-Fuel system. It literally automates the entire process from lighting the torch, controlling the gas pressure settings, to kerf width offset, to height control, pierce height control, and optimized cut speed. All of your process parameters are built in and are fully adjustable to match your application seamlessly.”
