The Apex3R Evo features a heavy all-steel tube frame, high-precision gearbox and a tightly tuned servo system creating a rigid CNC machine that delivers pristine cut quality with precise accuracy.
A three-axis motion control system gives you tight control over routing quality even when cutting through materials up to 5 inches thick, for precision and quality cutting your customers will love.
Route and cut more – better, and faster
Collet and ATC spindle options range from an impressive 24-32K RPM and up to 13.3 HP, making the Apex3R Evo suitable for a wide range of jobs using different tools and materials. The condensed knife system delivers improved cut quality, with an electric oscillator knife that can be configured with either a 2mm or 5mm stroke to tackle a wide range of materials.
The updated knife design offers better cut performance on even more materials than before, while the electric oscillator knife runs at higher RPM than previous knife systems.
Condensed knife system
The Apex3R Evo features a newly designed condensed knife system for improved cut quality and productivity, upgraded tapping features to simplify and streamline production, and an improved dust boot providing better particulate pick-up. Importantly, the Apex3R Evo is also modular, allowing businesses to add knife and rotary tools as needs evolve.
Tapping made easy
The upgraded pneumatic 'Quick Change' knife body allows for both knife and tapping tool change capabilities. Use multiple tap sizes in one job and reduce secondary processes, achieving perfect tapping depths with greater efficiency through automation.
The machine can use up to 10 different tap sizes in one job, requiring less operator intervention and delivering more automation.
Tapping non-ferrous metal, dense plastics, or hardened advanced material is fast, easy, and reduces secondary operations.
Repeatably accomplish accurate blind-tapped holes for applications such as installing stand-offs in face-front signage.
Cleaner operation, easier control
Improved dust collection
A newly designed dust boot provides better particulate pick-up and improved flow design. What’s more, the integrated misting nozzle directs misting fluid better on the tool and on the material.
Quick-release dust boot attachments enable the operator to switch between bristles and a spring-loaded glide pad for better particulate pick-up in different applications. The attachments also make it easier to replace worn bristles.
