MultiCam's New Plate Frame Construction

MultiCam iintroduces an all Plate Steel Frame base for our top selling 3000 and 5000 series Routers and Plasmas. MultiCam's new plate steel box frames are designed to improve rigidity and have the strength and stability to assure years of dependable performance. The main stringers on these frames are fabricated from 1.5-inch thick plate. This has improved the machineability of the base and reduced vibration during heavy cuts on the router. The rib design offers 20 % more support for the standard phenolic or optional T plate clamping tables. Machined mounts for optional pop up pins to align material blanks are now standard. All base frame designs have extra available stroke in the X-axis to accommodate full coverage of optional boring units. Heavy-duty forklift tubes are standard. Work surface height is maintained at 32 inches, which is an optimal ergonomic level. | ||||
