MultiCam Plasma Rotary Axis Option
Dallas, Texas - September 25, 2009
MultiCam will be introducing a new rotary axis option for its 3000P and 6000P line of CNC plasma systems at the Fabtech show in Chicago, November 15-18, 2009. The new rotary axis option is designed for plasma cutting of both rectangular and round tube up to 24” in diameter. Standard features include a three (3) or four (4) jaw chuck and an adjustable tailstock. Adjustable steady rest mounting platforms are also standard on all units. The rotary axis is driven by a brushless digital AC servo drive and will index rectangular tube for cutting on each of the four sides. They system will also perform simultaneous three (3) axis plasma cutting allowing holes and other geometric shapes to be cut from round tube.
